G12 Business Club meetings provide the perfect balance between informal networking and structured business exchange, so the meetings are both fun and productive
Our next event is on July 15th, which following the summer budget has a focus on ‘Budget for COVID’ and our talk will be from Chartered Accountant Sean Smith of Thomas Westcott Chartered Accountants.
Our Summer 2020 Series of Events are supported by Thomas Westcott Chartered Accountants who offer a comprehensive range of sector and service specialisms, the company has supported a diverse range of businesses and individuals right across the South West and beyond for more than 30 years.
Like many Sean is currently working from home, using technology to provide a level of service that would not have been possible only a few years ago. His wife is home schooling two boys and with two teenagers currently furloughed home life is very busy. Sean moved to Devon in 1994 after training as a Chartered Accountant in the Midlands. He has been a partner with Thomas Westcott for over 10 years and besides the usual compliance work he is currently spending his working day advising clients on business purchases and restructures. He is also finding time to advise on the many varied grants and loans currently available. Sadly he was unable to go to the Dutch Formula One Grand Prix as planned, but he is looking forward to the start of the season at the beginning of July.
